iPad Pro Use Pencil when charging?

when my Pencil is usb charging i cant use it. can anyone else? or is there a work around?

It takes so little time to charge that this doesn't surprise me, I tried to time from low to fully charge once and it only took 20 minutes tops.

I tried it, doesn't work. But it charges so fast that I can grab a coffee and when i get back it works for the rest of the day.

Was wondering about this myself, only thought I could come up with is that the charging circuit somehow interferes with the emitter signals and would make some performance aspect erratic, so they disable it during charging.

Otherwise it would seem like zero gain with the requirement to actually program in the behavior.
