Use PS3 Eye Mic as iPad External Mic

Hi, I have an iPad and would like to use ‘Hey Siri’ functionality all the times. But because iPad built it microphone range is not far enough, I find another options in the internet and found out that PS3 Eye mic is quite good to be the external mic.
I tried the mic using my Raspberry Pi, and it works flawlessly. But when I connect the mic to my iPad (using usb camera kit), seems like it doesn’t work.

Please help me, would be great if someone have similar problem and solved it.

Im not sure iOS supports any external microphone, especially via the camera adapter. Have you found previous reports that this works for somebody?
