Use rMBP as PS3 Monitor

Hey guys

So from the title, you get what I'm trying to do.

My dad wont let me have a TV in my room, but I still really want to be able to have my PS3 in it, so I can play comfortably! (GTA V).

So is there anything I could use to connect my PS3 to my Retina Macbook Pro 15"? I've done some research but couldn't find anything, but I'm sure the professionals on this forum can find some!

I'm in a similar situation to you, i.e parents.

It sounds practically impossible; and even if you could do it, it would most likely cost an awful lot more than a very expensive TV/external monitor, sorry.

1) Buy an external monitor to use with your rMBP, and make sure it has an HDMI port as well as DVI or Displayport.

2) Use rMBP with monitor but also hook up your PS3
