used 2.5GHz MBP, 17'' hi-res, LED or not?

I'm looking to buy a used 2.5 GHz MBP, 17'' hi-res. Is this thing LED backlight or not? Any problems with this generation of MBPs?

1. If it is 1920 x 1200 and a 2.5ghz penryn (T9300) then it is LED backlit. The 1680 x 1050 version is not.

2. 8600m gt's are all susceptible to failure.

I don't think they ever released a 2.5 GHz Merom, right? So it has to be the Penryn/LED.

The 8600 GT is still holding up in my MBP. But you're right, that's a concern.

Santa Rosa's are LED too, and the 8600 issue isn't that much of a hassle. Mine was replaced next day, I wish that I had waited in the mall for it at Annie Sez or something. Get some nice chocolate covered pretzels..
