I'm purchasing a used Macbook to have as a backup for my 2013 15 inch Macbook Pro. I have two offers to consider.

13 Inch Macbook Air Early 2015 (Applecare until November 2019)
i7 - 8gb RAM - 512GB SSD
$950

13 inch Macbook Pro Retina Early 2015 (No Applecare or Warranty)
i7 - 16gb RAM - 512 SSD
$900

Both are in similar condition (really good condition) with no major wear and tear. I plan to use it for deejaying on the weekends (I play 3-4 gigs a weekend) and some light photoshop work when I'm traveling on a train or plane. I know the main differences between the Air and the Pro (and typically prefer a pro) but this computer is essentially going to be my DJ computer and use my 15 inch for in home use. I'm leaning towards the Air because of the Applecare. Just wanted to throw a feeler out there if there's anyone that might use either of the two for what I intend to use it for.

Thanks in advance for any insight provided!
