I need help. This is my first time posting here at MacRumors, but I've visited the site on many occasions. Now I am asking for some assistance.
I'm using Leopard 10.5.4, on the newest version of the MacBook (2.1 Ghz, 1 Gb RAM)
I found out that StarCraft did not work with 10.5.4 because the 256 color support had been taken out of the drivers, so I went about using an application called "Pacifist"
I followed the tutorial on this site:
http://70.181.80.166:82/blog/archives/2008/07/mac-os-10531054-nvidia-256-colors.html
I downloaded the "Leopard Graphics Update 1.0", and used Pacafist.
I did one thing wrong though.
Instead of installing ONLY the video drivers for my MacBook, I installed all of them. Now, every time I boot up OS X, I get the kernel panic screen telling me to hold down the power button an restart my system.
Any help would be appreciated.
