I bought an iPad 2 (32GB, WiFi) less than a year ago, and it's got the AppleCare warranty on it. My GF would like to buy it from me to give to her father. Any thoughts on what a fair price for family/friends would be? She's been using it herself since I got my iPad 3 on launch day, so it's in pretty pristine shape. I'm up in Canada, if that makes a difference. I know it's going for $400 new, so I was thinking $250 to $300, since it includes the AC.

A 16 GB version goes for $400 new... You said you have a 32 GB version. A used 32 GB iPad 2 sells on Amazon and eBay for roughly $375-$400 in decent condition.

The friends and family discount should just ecompass the Seller Fees in my opinion. My friend is buying mine for $350 if I sell it to him. So I would say between $300 and $350 would be fair.

I got a great deal from a coworker. Got a 32GB iPad 2 with about a half a dozen cables, Belkin case, and stylus for $250. That is an absolute steal though, so anywhere in the $300-325 range would be a good deal for anyone.

Wow... A steal is an understatement.

I forgot about the case being included. Perhaps my friend will be buying mine for a little more than $350, its got an $80 ($50 online) case on it... Maybe like $10 or $15 for the case.

Gotta love when people get bored with technology. Sell things at crazy low prices just to buy new things. :D

Amazon offered me $300 for iPad 2 16gb an I sold it on Craigslist for $320. It was a 1 week old AppleCare replacement
