I bought a used iPhone 4 (2011). The battery seems to be OK. I charged it at night. Keep the phone switched on during the night (data disabled). Use it the whole day with 2G (I never needed a 3G). Push notifications are switched off and mostly all GPS locations for the apps I don't need. Anyway...
I need an opinion from iPhone users, who understand more of these issues. I attach the usage data of Saturday (the day I use the phone more) and the data about the battery!
