Used Iphone Price

Hi,
I am thinking about buying a first gen iphone of a friend,. but I need a few suggestions
The Iphone works perfectly but, the glass overlay as cracks at the top of the screen by the speaker, and some on the top quarter part of the screen. The glass is missing about 30% of the top by the speaker.
some scratches on the back.

I was wondering how much I should buy it for, should I buy it at all?, and how much will it cost to DIY on the glass overlay on the screen.

Personally I'd check craigslist.com for any iphones on sale in your area. You might be able to find a good deal on there or at least get a gauge on what range the prices are in.

Offer him $125, go on craigslist and find a technician that will fix the screen. Usually $100 for the 1st gen iphones. You don't want to pay more than 250 for a 1st gen any ways.
