Used iPhone Question

I curretnly have an iPhone 4 and plan on buying my wife an iPhone when her contract is up in a few months(she is currently on a dumb phone), but in the mean time some friends upgraded and gave us their old 3G.

I am going to install her sim card, will I be forced to add a data package?

Also will it be a problem to sync both phones to one itunes account?

Any other problems with this plan?

As soon as her SIM is added to an iPhone, you'll have to add data to her line. You shouldn't experience any problems with syncing multiple iPhones with your iTunes account. I currently have 6 iPhones on the same account.
