Used macbook advice

Within the following month I'm gonna be looking for a used MacBook to buy. Now the budget I'm gonna have is $400 (maybe more) and need advice on what's a good MacBook i can get around that price used. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Doesn't matter. Could be macbook, pro, air. Just want it to be at least in the 2007 era and up

I have an Alu MacBook that I bought in early 2009. Nice machine use it everyday. Check on ebay see how much they go for.
