I just purchased a 2.2 MBP Oct 2011 with 8Gb RAM from CEX.co.uk - not a bad deal @ £1000 I think as its in great condition. Because its a Oct 2011 model I expected there to be some applecare left on it - at least until Oct this year - however when I do a serial number check - it only offers me:
