Used Macbook Pro late 2011 - applecare expired?

I just purchased a 2.2 MBP Oct 2011 with 8Gb RAM from CEX.co.uk - not a bad deal @ £1000 I think as its in great condition. Because its a Oct 2011 model I expected there to be some applecare left on it - at least until Oct this year - however when I do a serial number check - it only offers me:

Should it not offer applecare - and what might be the explanation for this?

If you are being offered the tech support, I think I'm right in saying you have Applecare. To check this, run the serial number through the support page at Apple:

Enter the serial number and you should get the information you need.

Your status looks right. Nothing to be up in arms about. It will not show anything regarding AppleCare eligibility.
