Guess I am really trying to justify a purchase.

Currently have a core duo 1.83. MacBook. Would luke the new MacBook or the new pro but for 1100 for a MacBook 2.4 with the gesture pad seems like a too good of deal to pass up.

5 months into apple care

Any reasons not to get besides the 8600gt?

It seem like a good buy to me. Although I do have to hand it over to apple, the new Macbooks are SWEEEEEET! :D

well I bought it for 1050. Was 1350 on eBay buy it now and I had a coupon for 10% off(max 100). Then I used Microsoft live for 25% off (max 200) and got it for 1050 shipped. Great upgrade!

Not bad for a 5 month old laptop. It's the 2.4 touchpad edition. 2gbs ram and 200gb HD. After selling my laptop (macbook core duo 1.83) I should only have to spend 350-450.

I can't wait!
