I'm looking at a 2010 13" Macbook Pro 4GB RAM 320GB Disk Space.

I'm compiling a list of things to check. Anyone have anything else to add or any help/advice? Anyone want to give a fair quote if all is in order?

Second one down:

- Visual check for scratches, cracks
- Check of screen for dead pixels
- Check CD-Drive
- Check boot up is normal
- Check functionality of ports
- Run various applications simultaneously
- Monitor Fan (SMC Fac Control)
- Monitor battery usage and check load cycles (Coconut Battery)
- Test Bluetooth
- Test Wifi
...

I'd add the charger to that. Those things can die. If possible check the display uniformity is within your expectations (it's difficult to spot right away if the ambient lighting is too bright but you might notice it later). I would definitely type on the keyboard just to be sure of that. Plenty of people on here have caused keyboard malfunctions after having spilled things on them. I'd also give the machine a stress test for at least a few minutes if possible. This would give you an idea of how it performs under load, and if it has any fans starting to die, you will hear it.
