I am in the market for a used MBP, probably a year or two old for my wife. Where do you suggest I look. I have browsed ebay but it is hard to filter and find actual used Macs. Any suggestions and ideas help. Thanks!

Apple refurb store or Craigslist.

I wouldn't buy a used computer from someone I don't know, unless I got a chance to look at it and use it.

Try Craiglist, you can see the item before buying so you can test it. Good luck!

The Mac community is small and tight knit.

craigslist. i just bought a month old mbp 13' I7 w 8gigs of ram for $1200 and it came w lion and receipts to prove it all

Craigslist is good, we bought a 6 month old iMac for half the original price.
