I seem to have found a legit Craigslist posting for a 6 week old unibody 2.4Ghz Macbook Pro. I'm really not worried about it being a scam since the seller accidentally sent me an email response intended for another possible buyer offering a trade for a Macbook Air--and the seller was entertaining the offer.

I've offered $1400 through email and the seller has accepted.

This seems like a pretty good deal to me, but I just wanted to get some other opinions.

So let me get this straight - in six weeks, this computer has depreciated $600 (and even more if you factor in taxes)?

SCAM or the seller has enough money to flush down toilets as a hobby.

Went and looked at it....and bought it.

Everything is completely legit.

Re-installing OSX right now on it.

Checked serial number and warranty is good until January 31st 2010. Has phone support until May 2nd.

The guy was a gamer and bought it because he liked his iPhone...but didn't like OSX. Said he had some coupons and stuff for Best Buy. My guess is he didn't care about loosing any money on it.
