I've tried for months to sort this but have been unable to find any info about it anywhere at all so hoping someone here might have some ideas...

Me and my wife share an M1 MacBook Air, both with our own user accounts. We are part of an iCloud Family share set-up. The issue we have is that when we are both logged on, the other persons (person 2) screen time info appears in our account (person 1), this allows me to see everything and all websites my wife visits and for how long and her for me the same. The Mac also becomes a source of syncing the iPhone screen time also. With this if she visits a website for 1 hour on her iPhone and is logged into the MacBook, it shows this time on my MacBook screen time user and then syncs it to my iPhone; meaning if I had a limit of visiting this website for 1hr, I can't view it on my iPhone at all as she has viewed it for the full time.

This happened with our holder 2017 MacBook Air also, we got this new MacBook and set it up from scratch (no resorting or transferring of any info in any way apart from what is in iCloud).

This whole thing can't be normal can it? For us its not a major issue, but for some families where there may be abusive or controlling relationships this is a huge risk.

In addition to this, our AirPods React similarly: both set up for our own iPhone. However both show in both Mac users accounts, until yesterday only our AirPods pair and connect to our own iPhones.

However yesterday I set-up a new iPhone for me, and this brought in her AirPods and connected to these automatically - nothing that has ever been done and these do not have any link to my iCloud account.

In summary... It seems our iCloud accounts have some sort of flaw where they are partly merged into one and there is no way of separating it (apart from not sharing the MacBook).

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

I would not look at the problem with the macbook, but with the account itself and apple sharing information ...
