User-added album art blocky

Hey,

Sometimes I have to manually add album art in iTunes. When I sync up to my iPhone 4, the album art is blocky, low quality, jpeg etc. I use a large album art (700x700 px)

Yet any album art added by TuneUp and iTunes itself is all high quality when displayed on my iPhone 4.

The user-added album art is HQ in iTunes.

Any ideas?
