User login and cloned HD

Hi

I bought a bigger HD for my wife's macbook, 2008 model. I used both carbon copy cloner and super duper to clone my wife's HD. Each time I clone it, I get an issue with my wife's user profile not being able to be loaded and some of the time having issues even logging. Keeps saying correct password, and when it does it says incorrect profile or something like that.

She has the only user account on the system.

I think you need to reduce her User status from Admin to just a regular user.

Thank you for the response.

i realized my error. I had setup a dual partition system and had renamed the users partition to users new. Apparently that had upset the process. Renaming the HDs fixed the issue. Thank you
