Hi Everyone!

I downloaded an application (from an internet site) designed for (wait for it...) Tiger, which supposedly changed the way the User Name would appear in the top menu bar (if multiple accounts on the one mac), allowing for a shortcut to the "Login Window" screen, as opposed to Logging out.

However, the application didn't work (OK, I shouldn't have installed a Tiger app...) and, as a result, the User Name Menu has disappeared from the Mac Menu (see attached file).

After deleting all files from the system and rebooting the mac, the problem still persists.

I am running the latest version of Snow Leopard (10.6).

Is there any way I can fix this???

Many Thanks,

Jordan

Problem Fixed (kinda...)

Thank you very much for your responses.

For those who are wondering, the program is called "WinSwitch" http://wincent.com/a/products/winswitch/

Many thanks simsaladimbamba for System Preferences options! (Saved my life....) :D:D

The Application is uninstalled and my menu bar looks like normal!

The only thing I am looking for now is a keyboard shortcut for the login window.

I know you can LOG OUT (and quit all running windows and applications) by COMMAND:)apple:)-SHIFT-Q, but is there a way to get the LOGIN WINDOW (from the name menu bar) with a keyboard shortcut?

Many Thanks!

JJ
