Username for iDisk Public?

I'm trying to set up a connection to my Public folder, from my mates Mac Mini. He has the latest version of Lion installed.

When connecting to the server https://public.me.com/username the finder asks for a username and password.

Other forums have suggested that the username should be 'public'. But this doesn't work. My password is fine as I use it to log into the public folder from my computer with no problems.

What should the username be? I have also tried my @me username, to no avail.

Thanks for this, but this Article was written in 2010. The server address quoted in the article is out of date and the suggestion to use public as the username is a good idea, but fails.

I think this problem might be specific to Lion, but I'm not sure.
