Hi,

In the Sharing section of System Preferences, could somebody please explain to me what is the difference between "Unknown User" and "Everyone" means?

Thanks

For what service are you seeing "Unknown User"?

For example, if I click on "File Sharing" I see myself, "Users" and "Everyone".

"Users" are people who have a login and password for your system, while "Everyone" is everyone (including guests, users, etc.)
