A couple of weeks ago I switched from the Gmail App to the NuevaSync service. Around the same time, I noticed significantly increased battery drain and usage time (i.e., previously my phone's "usage" would increase by about 10 minutes overnight, and after I started using NuevaSync it went up to about 30 minutes overnight--no other changes). After a day at work I'd usually have about half the battery remaining than before I started using NuevaSync.

Anyways, for several weeks, it didn't really register that NuevaSync might be the problem, but yesterday I disabled it, and presto, my battery life is back to where it used to be.

Yes, it could be placebo, but I'm pretty sure NuevaSync was sucking down significantly more battery than the Gmail iOS app.

Anybody else experience anything similar?

Ive been running it for a few days, and not really noticed any significant drain.
