I have a first generation white Macbook that works well but has a few limitations. I dropped it sometime back and the eyesight camera does not work and my battery is completely gone meaning it will only power itself if plugged in. I plan on getting a new Macbook or Macbook Pro.
What are some cool things I could do with this laptop? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Plug an external monitor, keyboard and mouse into it and use it as a desktop?

Also the battery issue is covered, you can get it replaced by Apple - the warranty was extended because of the battery issue. That would pretty much make it completely functional once again.

You could set it up as some sort of everything-server-with-a-screen. You could set your new computer to back up its files to it, it could store all your music and movies, be hooked to a TV if you have a DVI or HDMI compatible TV, all sorts of things.

Desktop is ur best bet!

If it wasn't a Mac id say smash it up... but u couldn't do that to a mac!
