I use Comcast and want to connect my wife's computer into a sharing situation via ethernet to my mac so we can share the same modem.
For the looks of it Comcast doesn't seem to offer any help with this other than they try to make you spend mo' money.
does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks

You have 2 options really. You could buy a router, its a small device that you connect the internet to one side of it, and 2 computers via ethernet to the other. This cost anywhere from $30 to $100 and even more if you want a really expensive one. The other option would be to get an airport card in each computer and share the internet through the one computer, in that setup the one computer would have to be on all the time.

You'll have to spend some money.

Decide if you want to pay comcast to do it, or whether to do it yourself. It's very easy, if you're a bit tech savvy. And shouldn't cost more than $50 or so.
