Using 2006 MB AC charger w/ 2009 MBP?

Hi All,

I left my 2009 MBP AC charger at work this weekend and was wondering if anyone knew if it was safe to use my old '06 MB charger to recharge? I know that the MB power supply is 65W and the MBP is i believe 85W? Any opinions are greatly appreciated. thanks in advance . . .
