Hi All,

I'm debating getting this laptop case from REI for my 13 inch MB:
http://www.rei.com/product/776240

It has everything I want, it's like a sleeve but has a handle and a possible strap. The problem is that the small is for 12 inch and the medium is for 15 inch. Does anybody think it'll be a big problem if I use the 15inch? My MB will slide around a bit in it but I just don't know how much I should worry about it....

Also, if you know of a similar case for a 13 please let me know :)
Thanks!!

It's somewhat a bit loose but it'll probably rock back and forth if your carrying the case. It depend on your decision..I can't really tell since I don't have a 15" case...

Oh yeah get an Incase. They are really nice (I have one for my MB) it has straps and handles and two pockets on the outside to carry extra stuff (like the power adapter etc...). Try going to their website, they have a lot of variation of bags that's design for apple computers and other brand. :) Hope that helps!

Are you talkig about this one:

?

It's still bulkier than I want. Basically I want a plain skinny sleeve but with a handle. I still want to be able to put itin a bag but I'd feel more comfortable if I could use a handle when I was carrying it around.

Yes, that's the one except mine was black. That's one of my favorite, you can check out other designs. I'm sure they have others you might like :)

When I bought my macbook I started using it with a 15 inch case that I had from my previous windows laptop, and it was annoying as hell. Just buy a 13 inch one and don't waste your money because chances are you wont like it.

I have seen this one in person from a friend of mine and they look quite nice.

Yeah, its still al ittle bulkier than I want. I think i'll just end up having to get a regular sleeve and not worry about the handle....

The 13" MacBook is 12.78" wide x 8.94" tall (13.3" is the screen size--diagonally). The small Sherpani sleeve is 14" wide x 11" tall. That should be a perfect fit. The medium would be way too large.

'Cause a person might as well get one that fits?

I say take a look at some cases that are custom-made for your MacBook. There's certainly no shortages of those, and it'll end up being just right for your laptop and you'll be glad you took the extra time looking for it.

I bought a Columbia book bag with an laptop pocket that fits a 15" but only because i have a Sumo Case for my MB, which is very well padded, so when i put it in my book bag it sits nice and tight.
But if you want something small for your MB, why buy a 15" and cary the extra size around?! Besides, you would want your laptop to be secured in the bag, so it doesn't flop around..
Bestbuy just had on sale an Incase carrying case like what you're looking for, but I don't know if they still do. You might be able to find one at your local store, they were like $19.99 ...
