Yeah I'm working on a uni project at the moment, I have a minor problem, I need to use the same camera in 2 applications at the same time, I will be using a firewire camera, such as a sony handycam, but this can change to a webcam if needed. The problem is I need either a piece of hardware or software which allows me to split the video feed in into 2 streams so I can use it in multiple programs at once. I have tried CamTwist which didn't seem to allow me to do it. I dunno if that was because I wasn't using it in the right way.
So to sum up I need to be able to split a live stream into 2 live streams that are exactly the same but can be used in different applications.
