Using a different name on Instagram

Hey,

I want to start doing tech reviews on YouTube and create a separate Instagram for this, I have come up with a really good name which is different to mine which I’d like to go by on my YouTube channel and Instagram, I am just wondering if this is allowed?

You can use any name that’s available. The user name doesn’t need to be your name, it could be a show name or anything.

hg wells was an author who died in 1946. so clearly the poster who has that username is using a "made up" name on the internet. :)

Instagram doesn't care at all what your user name is vs your screen name. They don't verify it in anyway.

thank you so much for your reply, this has helped. so can I even use a different name on my profile as well as the username?
