Quick question.

I'd like to put a hard drive from an old G4 iMac into an even older Digital Audio G4 Power Mac. I'd like to know if this is possible.

The hard drive interface on the iMac is ATA/100, while the Power Mac uses ATA/66.
 
Sorry no.. those are special iMac only drives.

Seriously though... of course it will.
 
As expected it works fine!

30GB 4,200 rpm to 80GB 7,200 rpm - Xbench disk scores are 70% higher.

Nice jump, shame I didn't work this earlier when I actually used the old G4.
