Hi everyone.
I've just switched to a new MBP 13 and everything has gone smoothly so far.
Here is my situation....I only need Windows for using MS Frontpage, so I'm going to keep my desktop PC rather than putting windows on my Mac.
I would like to use my Mac with my monitor.
I just bought a new Samsung BX2440 LED monitor.
It comes with 2 hook up cables. The old style (Is that RGB?) and a DVI cable.
I have the monitor hooked to my desktop with the RGB.
Am I correct in thinking that I can hook it up to my Mac with the DVI adapter that Apple has?
If so, could I keep it hooked to my PC with the RGB and to my mac at the same time with the DVI as long as the PC is turned off? Doing it that way would keep my hooking and unhooking cables to a minimum.
Hopefully this makes sense and I have the terminology correct.
Thanks!
- Dave

Yes, it's fine. The monitor should have a button to seamlessly switch inputs. And the terminology is correct. :)

Or you could ditch the PC and just run Windows in a virtual machine using Parallels or VMWare.
