I am thinking of buying a mac mini ro run some videos from.
Here is my setup:
I have a flat panel imac, with wifi and bluetooth. I run all my music via airport, and use a PDA with salling clicker to control all my music in the next room (my lounge) and it works like a dream
If i wanted to get a mac mini, this is what i would want to do with it:
When i download films and season stuff (by the way i know this is illegal, but i only download things that i will buy on DVD as soon as they are released anyway....i love having the box sets but i cant wait for them to be released!)
anyway, when i download them, i then have to copy them to dvd and it takes ages to convert them into a DVD playable format, so if i got a mac mini, i could send the videos from my imac, to the mac mini in my lounge and watch them on the mac mini (attatched to my TV)
Is this correct?
If so, is it possilble to using ONE PDA (with salling clicker) to control all my music on my flat panal imac, and control the videos on the mac mini?
