Using a portable HD to boot Windows

I downloaded Windows 7 via torrent and I'm wondering if there is a way to use boot camp to install Windows on my portable HD and boot up using Windows when my portable hard drive is connected. I know my wording isn't the best so I hope you understand what I'm asking. I couldn't find a thread on this topic so I apologize if this has already been asked.

Short answer... no. Windows has to be installed to an internal drive.
