Hello,

I am traveling to the US next month and I want to take my iPad. I currently have an O2 micro sim which I use to browse via 3G in the UK.

What would be my best option for roaming while I am in the US. Can I use an AT&T micro sim in my UK iPad or would I be better asking a UK mobile provider for roaming abroad packages?

Thanks

I was in the US in February. I went into T-Mobile and AT&T shops to see if I could get a Pay&Go sim with data for my iPhone 4S. Neither network offers one. They offer Pay&Go sims for voice and texts only.

I didn't think about asking for an iPad sim on Pay&Go so you might have more luck.

You were given incorrect information. Putting any unactivated AT&T sim card in an iPad will bring up the self payment system were you put your card information on the iPad (Only UK card accepted is American Express though) and buy the data plan. You can order an AT&T micro sim off ebay.
