Hi All,

I'm a MAC newby first off

I have a MACBook Air which i have changed the Ethernet connection to use a DNS and a domain, i then bound to the domain. This seems to work fine while I'm on Ethernet in our office, if i leave the office and use WiFi i can get internet, I can also connect to the VPN, but i cant access the domain network storage.

1) I changed the name of the MACBOOK to LM-XXXXX-000008
2) for the Ethernet LAN connection I added two DNS IP addresses and one domain addresses
3) I then bound to the domain using an Admin login for the domain
4) using control + K and SMB:\\ I then mounted a network share and accessed the files

5) once on WiFi i can still login using a domain login ( with no WiFi i can still login using a domain login)
6) connect to the VPN works fine
7) using control + K and SMB:\\ I can no longer mount or get access to the network share

I suspect its an IP issue / conflict

any step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Madaxe
