I watch a lot of content on my ps3 that i stream from my mbp. unfortunately whenever the video hits about 8 mbps it starts to stutter making the videos unwatchable. Is it possible to connect my ps3 to my AE via ethernet cable to take advantage of 802.11n speeds

p.s. If 802.11g can do 54 mbps why does my connection crap out at 8 mbps

As for the 8Mbps thing

Remember, 54 is a purely theoratical value.

How do you stream from you Mac to PS3?

is it HD you are streaming or SD?
