My family is planning on getting a new router for the house because our dlink router just isn't cutting it for the amount of devices we have using it. I believe were looking at the Netgear WNR-2000.
I never have a good wireless connection for my bedroom, and was wondering if I could use an AirPort Express in my room to broadcast wire n only that only I'll use, because all the devices in my room run 802.11n. While the rest of my family devices run off of the Netgear router, because theirs don't support 802.11n.
Would it make a huge difference if I used the AirPort Express for wireless n only versus g, or would it not be worth the hassle? And do you think the Netgear would cut it? 3 iPhones, 4 laptops, my mac mini, apple TV and multiple XBOX 360's, and all devices are used constantly.
I just want something that will work, and work well.
I know this is pretty much all over the place, but any advice will help, thank you!
