Here's my situation. I have an imac g3 in the kitchen meant basically to check email etc but the airport card doesn't work in it so i'm using a d link 810 ethernet bridge to receive wireless signal. (it's plugged into the ethernet port of the imac)
Here's my problem:
it's only wireless B, and i learned today that if your router is broadcasting wireless b+g but there is a computer that can only use wireless B, the router only broadcasts B, so all of the other computers in the house that all have wireless G are now at B speeds. So as of now i have the router set to only G and now the imac doesn't have internet.
SO..
Can i use my airport express to do the same thing as the d link? This way the imac would be receiving wireless G and every computer will have access to the internet.
