Hey guys,

Well I'm new here, I've just been lurking around, I just recently got my first MAC, I bought a Mac Book Pro. Glad to be here :D

I was wondering if it is possible to set the Airport as a access point only? As I am using a high end Cisco Router / Switch, because I like to have more control over things, so is it possible to have it set to access point only, and pull IP Addresses from the Cisco Router rather than having to double net my current network ?

Thanks for any input,

Andrew

Yes. Just turn off NAT/DHCP. The comptuer will then get an IP address from the Cisco router.

Thanks for the quick response. I haven't bought one yet, I just wasn't sure if those settings were incorporated in there. Just wanted to make sure.

Thanks again,

Andrew
