I recently got both DSL service from Verizon and an Airport base station/card. While my DSL works with the ethernet cable, it does not register (ie-status bar shows connection but PPPoe network doesn't respond) when I plug it into the WAN port and activate Airport. Does anyone know whether this can be fixed or that you can't access DSL through it?

Thanks!

One thing I had problems with was ths I had my Airpost set to "distribute addresses".
If you have anything else that supplies addresses(maybe their modem) this causes big issues. So make sure you don't have 2 DHCP servers. (The Airport being 1.) Also use Ethernet Bridging in your settings.

This may help...

I use both the airport and verizon dsl. If you still are having probs I will tell you how I set mine up.
