Using alignment guides in iWork '08 Pages

I'm working on a book in Pages '08 that has 17 pages. I want to use alignment guides to make sure nothing will the in the margin where the binding will be placed. However, when I drag an alignment guide onto a page, it just shows on that one page. How do I copy alignment guides to several pages so they are all in the same place?
