I purchased an audio splitter like the one in this link (http://amzn.com/B000EHCYBC) so that my girlfriend and I could watch movies together on my iPhone when we're traveling.
The audio splitter I bought has an adapter with 2 rings, and while it generally works fine, if we plug our headphones neatly into the splitter we barely get any audio. However, if we plug our headphones 90% of the way into the splitter we get full audio.
It's more of an annoyance than anything else, but I'm wondering, did I just buy a cheap splitter or is this because of the 2 ring/3 ring difference? Do they make splitters that support that 3 rings?
