Using an eGPU with a Macbook Pro 13" and Premiere CC, how?

hi folks,

I just bought a Blackmagic eGPU Thunderbolt 3 Radeon Pro 580 which I want to use on my macbook pro 13" model 2018 and premiere cc.

unfortunately, I can´t really feel a speed increase in editing and rendering.
in the export settings I even can´t choose the egpu instead of software rendering.

does anyone have a tip how to setup the egpu?

Did you check the box for the app in the Finder that says “prefer eGPU”? What does activity monitor say for the GPU?
