OK, just hear me out for a sec! lol
Let's say I airplay an iPad to an AppleTV.
Is there a touch-sensitive, buttonless remote I can use to navigate the iPad
as if I were using an iPad without having to actually use the iPad itself?

What I mean is I don't wanna hold the iPad and use it while looking at the TV instead of the iPad.
I do wanna put the iPad down somwhere, airplay it to an AppleTV
and navigate it with this, hopefully not mythical, device while looking at the TV.

Why do this? Because I prefer using iOS on a TV instead of tvOS, that's why. Thanks!

without doing any jailbreaking, the closest you can get to what you want is just mirroring your ipad onto the tv (but in this case you'd still have to be touching the ipad)
