Using an iPhone SIM in a Go Phone?

Has anyone tried an iPhone 3G SIM in a Go Phone? It _should_ work, but I've heard people say that it doesn't.

I was just hoping to hear affirmation from someone here before I dropped $20 on a throw-away phone for Bonnaroo.

I don't see why it wouldn't. AT&T might go crazy about the data plan though.

First, there is not such thing as an iPhone 3G SIM. If you mean your current active SIM that you are using in an iPhone 3G and you want to put your SIM into a GoPhone for your Bonnaroo event, then you can do it.

Please note that you will be in violation of the GoPhone TOS but it works just fine. Also, your Visual Voicemail will also generate odd SMS Txt messages every time you get a new voicemail but that's no big deal for just 4 days of fun.
