Hi, I have a question:
is there any way for me to use my 3G enabled iPad with latest Apple TV ? My only source of Internet access is my iPad (which is jail-broken).
It seems like the Apple TV requires Airport. Let s say I bought the Airport router. Could I get Airport to become my router (using My Wi or some other app) and use Apple TV?

I may be wrong, but I believe routers take wired signals and convert to wireless, not the other way around.

As for Apple TV, have no idea how it works, but *IF* it can connect to the internet wirelessly, then it could theoretically connect through your iPad, though I doubt the speed of a 3g connection would make it worthwhile -- streaming videos over 3G can be verrrrrry slow.

Download mywi fornyour iPad and create a hotspot. Mywi has a 3 day trial before you have to purchase it. This will allow you to test streaming on the appletv. Good luck. Let us know how it goes. If it goes well dot forget to purchase mywi! :)
