Hi everyone. I finally got my new iPod touch 32GB and I really like it. But there is one thing that would make it even better: being able to see my schedule for work on it.
Here's my setup:
I have iCal on my MacBook Pro. iCal connects to the server of my company and downloads the calendar including all the times, events and vacation of all employees. When I have to work, there is an all-day event with my name in the title.
Now sadly the iPod touch isn't capable of syncing/displaying this calendar. Only my locally managed calendars show up on the ipod touch.
My first idea to solve this is to use automator to periodically download updates from the company-calendar, and to then check for the days where my name is in the title of an event and copy that event to one of the local calendars, which then could be synced to my ipod using mobile me.
I guess this should work but I never used automator before. Is it possible to do this and how would I do it? Or is there a different solution I didn't come up with yet?
Thanks in advance!
