using automator to peform this action

my photos are stored in a photos folder, and each set of photos is in its own folder, eg: photos > babys birthday, college day out, zoo, etc , etc
im trying to create a different photo album in iphoto for each bach of photos in each folder. i cannot figure out how to do this in automator. i believe it would require some kind of variables and a while or a for loop, but i have no idea how to do this in automator. any ideas?

I think it might go something like this:

1. Use the Import Photos To iPhoto command.
2. Name the album you want the folder to be imported to.
3. Drag the folder(s) you want in this album to above the iPhoto command and press run. That should be it.
4. Rinse and repeat for each album.

not much of a workflow application so. any workflow worth its salt would be able to do this. it does tasks that it wouldnt take much longer to do manually.

Someone better at Automator might be able to help you more, but sorry, that's as streamlined as I can get it. I agree it's not a brilliant app, but at this stage it's still just a toe-in-the-water for Apple. Hopefully the next one will be more competent.
