Using BiteSMS to control text tones stops audio?

So I have had BiteSMS for a while and just recently had it take control of my text tones so I could use the sonar ringtone for my text.

Well today I had iheartradio playing and got a text and instead of the audio dimming for a moment it stopped completely and didnt restart until I made it.

Is this normal? Is it a bug on the 4.2.1 jailbreak?

I dont know the solution to your direct problem but I can tell you a workaround. Rename the sound you want to use to sms-received2.caf then put it in \system\libraries\audio\uisounds\

Now select "Chime" as your sms tone from the default settings menu, and theres your custom tone.

Could someone who uses BiteSMS for custom text tones test this out to see if its the phone or the app?
