Hey all,
I am just learning how to use flash using "Sams Teach Yourself Flash in 24 Hours" and I have run into a bit of a problem.
When attempting to use blends, with two instances together, I only see the blend effect when I have selected "use runtime bitmap caching." If bitmap caching is not selected, I do not see any of the blend effects. Why is this the case? My understanding of bitmap caching is that it dynamically updates the selected object as a bitmap image instead of a rendered object. I don't see why it would have any effect of seeing the effects of blends.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
